I want to send a book to Ally’s son who is 9. Do you have any suggestions?

How about James and the Giant Peach and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? They are great books and I can’t wait to read them again with the girls. He might also like the Hardy Boys. Since Nancy Drew is now a movie, they might become popular again. There is also the Encyclopedia Brown series. Encyclopedia Brown solves neighborhood mysteries and it’s fun to try to guess the outcome. He would probably like the Harry Potter books, too.

Wow I got three books for one cent each on Amazon!!! How amazing, I chose the Encyclopedia Brown ones, you are right, they look really nice for a boy to read.
I wouldn’t mind reading them myself actually. I sent him monopoly too, I hope they don’t already have one.

I used to love Encyclopedia Brown. I could never figure it out before he did. I think he will love them! I’m glad that I could help AND that they were so cheap!
